Director of Network Engineering - Network Hosting
About Your Role
As a Director of Networking for the Network Hosting Team, you will provide leadership for the strategy, design, execution and maintenance of enterprise Data Center Network Fabrics that enable scalable and resilient system, storage, and application networking environments. You will drive long-term technology vision, ensure operational and financial excellence, and establish governance and compliance across all Network Hosting infrastructure and services in order to support business-critical outcomes.
What you’ll do:
Define and execute the vision for all Network Hosting Fabric infrastructures to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of all Network Hosting deployments
Provide oversight and guidance across international deployments
Ensure all Network Hosting deployments meet security standards and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with external partners and vendors to identify and mitigate risks, vulnerability and operation deficiencies across all deployments
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing Network Hosting Engineering team
Develop and manage budgets for Network Hosting deployments and maintenance
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance, risks, and strategic initiatives
Experience you’ll need to have:
10+ years of experience in the Network Engineering field
5+ years in a leadership role, directly managing and mentoring a team of engineers
5+ years of experience with large scale Data Center Network Fabric technologies
5+ years of experience managing large-scale Network Fabric deployments and deploying multi-vendor solutions
5+ years of experience managing all lifecycle phases of Data Center Fabric infrastructure
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and/or military experience
Experience that would be great to have:
Excellent leadership, communication, organization and strategic planning skills
Experience deploying and maintaining Network deployments via Automation and Infrastructure as Code
Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks (ISO, SOC, HIPAA)
How you’ll work:
Fiserv emphasizes in-person collaboration to help you grow your career while shaping the future of fintech, this role is on-site Monday through Friday
This role may require flexibility to work overtime that includes weekends and holidays
This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment
Travel:
- Approximately 15% travel off-site or to other office locations is expected

- Per contractual obligations, you must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a qualified United States Government security clearance (e.g., US DOD Secret)
