Position Overview This entry-level role involves preparing, processing, and analyzing microbiological samples while following established laboratory procedures. Full training is provided. Key Responsibilities Receive, label, and prepare specimens for testing. Perform routine microbiology procedures, including plating, culture evaluation, biochemical tests, and organism identification. Conduct susceptibility testing and accurately document all results. Maintain clean, organized workspaces and follow aseptic technique. Perform basic equipment maintenance and report issues. Track samples, manage supplies, and support general lab workflow. Required Skills & Abilities Strong interest in learning microbiology; no experience required. Basic math and computer skills for calculations and data entry. Good hand-eye coordination for precise sample handling. Ability to stay organized, follow instructions, and complete tasks on time. Preferred (Not Required) Academic or practical lab experience in microbiology, biology, or related sciences.
