G Technology, Inc. Journeyman Electrician / Service Technician in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Role Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair issues in electrical systems for commercial and industrial properties Install and complete terminations on panels, including both single and three-phase setups Execute conduit runs, pipe bending, and wire mold installation Install lighting, controls, and service components per project needs Review blueprints and technical drawings for project accuracy Handle service visits independently and occasionally lead small field teams Maintain clear communication with customers and office personnel Work with systems such as motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and BAS setups Adhere to all safety protocols and code standards (NFPA70, OSHA) Participate in on-call and weekend service rotation when required What We're Looking For: At least 2 years of experience as a journeyman-level electrician Strong skills in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting Ability to work safely around energized circuits Familiarity with motor controls, PLCs, VFDs, and BAS systems is a plus Clear communication skills and professional customer interaction Valid driver's license and clean record Able to pass background and substance screening Must be comfortable traveling locally and occasionally out-of-state Proficiency in English Benefits & Perks: Weekly payroll 401(k) plan with company contributions Health, dental, and vision coverage Life insurance and additional benefit options Paid vacation and holidays Overtime availability Paid certification/training programs Positive and safety-first work culture Daily travel expenses covered for out-of-area jobs
