50 Nursery workers needed to plant, cultivate, maintain, and harvest a variety of nursery stock - Annuals, Perennials, Tree/Shrubs, Hops, Field Stock (Bare Root), Corn, Soybeans, Hay, Greens, Pumpkins, Celery, Onions, Honey, Blueberries and Strawberries. Mow, cut, and weed fields. Perform ditching, shoveling, hoeing, hauling, ground preparation, and other manual tasks. Bending, stooping and kneeling required. Use hand tools including but not limited to hoes, shovels, shears, clippers, loppers, and saws. Lift, carry, and load/unload products or supplies. Assist with farm building/field maintenance and repairs. Build/repair fences. Must be familiar with working with bees in all stages, from eggs through mature workers, drones and queens. General Work Duties: Tree planting, Irrigation, tractor operation, fertilizing, weeding, spraying herbicides, cutting trees, shearing trees, baling trees, hauling trees, loading trees, tagging trees. Work will occur in Oceana, Ottawa, Muskegon, Allegan, Kent, Van Buren, Newaygo, Kalamazoo County, Michigan.

Work schedule is generally 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Additional hours may be offered but not required.

Workers will be paid a minimum of $13.78 per hour. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees.
