The role involves monitoring systems, identifying performance issues, and resolving technical problems using established protocols. The candidate supports customers by handling technical inquiries, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and maintaining service quality.
Key responsibilities include performing routine installations, configurations, and troubleshooting of hardware and software. The role also executes approved change management activities while following incidents, changes, and problem management processes.
The candidate monitors system performance, identifies incident trends, and escalates complex issues when required. They collaborate with internal teams to improve operations, implement process improvements, and maintain production goals while ensuring data confidentiality and compliance with company standards.
Additional responsibilities include managing device consumables (toner, paper, etc.), clearing paper jams, assisting end users with device functionality, collecting device usage data, swapping faulty devices with spares, and coordinating with support teams when required. Customer issues or dissatisfaction must be reported to the appropriate management team.
The role requires applying basic technical knowledge to solve routine problems independently and working with team members to resolve more complex issues while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Candidates for Field Technical Support must meet the following requirements to be considered:
High School Diploma / Higher Secondary or equivalent work experience
2–5 years of experience in maintenance, technical support, IT operations, or related fields
Bachelor’s or associate degree in a technical field is preferred
Basic understanding of IT environments and technical systems
Problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Effective communication and active listening skills
Ability to work independently within defined processes
Basic knowledge of products/services and customer support operations

Pay Details: $17.97 to $23.52 per hour
