Position: Ranch hand
Requirements: Must be 25 due to insurance. Worker has 3 days from date of hire to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States. Drug/alcohol/tobacco free work zone. Static strength; exert max muscle force to lift, push, pull, unload, carry objects up to 50lbs; may climb, walk, stand, reach, balance, sit, stoop, bend, squat, wash, clean: equip, grounds, area. All applicants must be able, willing and qualified to perform work described and must be available for the entire period specified. Variable weather conditions may apply. Bonus potential based on work performance at the sole discretion of the employer. Employees are expected to keep employer-provided vehicles clean and free of trash. Workers may not post or remove notices, signs, or other instructions from the employer's bulletin boards or the employer's property without specific authorization from the employer. Only workers may live in employer-provided housing unless other arrangements have been made with the employer. Employer may conduct housing inspections to make sure housing upkeep is abiding by state, local, and federal guidelines. Guests are allowed after work hours but must leave by 10:00pm. Modifications of any kind to housing are prohibited. Workers must vacate housing immediately at the end of the contract or if terminated.
Job Description: Duties may include: Feed and water livestock and monitor food and water supplies. Mix feed, additives, and medicines in prescribed portions to ensure proper health and weight gain. Clean stalls, pens, and equipment, using disinfectant solutions, brushes, shovels, water hoses, or pumps. Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; possible welding may be needed. Exercise and train animals at the ranch. Examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain. Provide medical treatment, such as administering medications and vaccinations, or arrange for veterinarians to provide more extensive treatment. Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery & other related Ranch Hand activities as per SOC/OES 45-2093 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work.
Anticipated Hours of Work Per Week: 40hrs per week.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8hrs 8:00am-5:00pm
Anticipated Period of Employment: 03/15/2026 to 10/01/2026
