Country United States of America State / County Washington City Algona Division Aerostructures Company Auburn Function Quality Workplace Type On-Site Position type Full Time Opportunity ID 21090 Job Description Position Summary: The Quality Engineer develops, maintains, and improves quality systems, processes, and controls to ensure product compliance and customer satisfaction. Reporting Relationships: The Quality Engineer will report to the Quality Manager. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain and improve QMS policies, procedures, and processes. Conduct internal audits, identify deficiencies, and drive corrective/preventive actions. Lead resolution of customer complaints and internal nonconformances, including investigation, root cause analysis, corrective action, and communication. Serve as the pointofcontact for internal and external quality issues. Support customer and thirdparty audits (e.g., AS9100). Provide training on quality standards and product conformity. Lead crossfunctional continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee document control activities, including creation, revision, approval, and maintenance of controlled documents. Ensure accurate and compliant recordkeeping within the QMS. Required Skills: Strong understanding of GD&T and common inspection equipment, including, but not limited to, surface plates, micrometers, height gages, radius gages, protractors, profilometers, bore gauges, and dial indicators. Knowledge of ISO/AS9100 requirements. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage projects and utilize metrics/KPIs to drive action. Strong attention to detail, and problemsolving skills. Ability to professionally communicate and work cooperatively with others. Required Experience: 2+ years in manufacturing quality roles preferred. 2+ years in the Aerospace manufacturing industry preferred. Level of Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, or equivalent education and experience. For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $80000 to $100000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter. Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays.
