ECONOMICAL JANITORIAL & PAPER SUPPLIES Delivery route driver in Alexandria, Louisiana
Responsibilities Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance Document and log work/rest periods and spent driving Comply with truck driving rules and regulations of FMCSA and DOT as well as company policies and procedures Unload your deliveries and treat all customers with respect and politeness Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions Report defects, accidents, and violations Meet delivery schedules on time Transport product to customers from Louisiana to Mississippi Sweep out the truck's box of any debris and remove leftover pallets at the end of the day
Requirements
Must have a valid class B CDL license and medical card Proven work experience as truck driver Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, Computer) Ability to drive or work long hours No recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc) Willing to submit to background checks, drug and alcohol testing, and provide employment history Job Type: Full-time Salary: $14.00-$17.00 per hour
