Minimum requirements: Bachelors degree in Medical Technology or a related field or the equivalent and a New York Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or eligibility. Job description: Responsible for daily technical work in the laboratory, including cytology, blood bank, phlebotomy, chemistry and urinalysis. Perform and assist with specialized procedures under the supervision of the manager and pathologist. Perform and monitor quality control and patient samples, attend in-services, record problems and monitor abnormalities, notifying the manager or pathologist of problems.
