Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management sector, is seeking a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2 to join their team. As a Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2, you will be part of the Operations Support team, ensuring the smooth functioning of data center logistics and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proactive problem-solving skills, and a collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Data Center Technician - I&A Logistics Support 2
Location: Aldie, VA
Duration: 18 Months on W2
Pay Range: $29 - $31/hour + Benefits & PTO
What's the Job?
Perform physical inventory tracking and staging to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries, including purchase order receiving and rack movement activities.
Conduct inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and support regulatory compliance activities within the data center environment.
Manage material movement, shipping, receiving, and inventory processes according to standard procedures.
Assist in the destruction of data-bearing devices following documented procedures and runbooks.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years of experience in warehouse, supply chain, or related fields within an IT environment.
Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Previous experience working in a data center environment is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
