DESCRIPTION:
Join our Global Service and Support organization as a Senior Service Support Representative at Thermo Fisher Scientific. In this important role, you'll enhance customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate processing of service-related activities while supporting our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll serve as a key liaison between customers, field service engineers, and internal departments, managing a variety of administrative and operational tasks that directly impact customer experience and business success.
You'll process service orders, manage contracts, coordinate with field teams, and maintain critical customer data. Your role will be essential in supporting service delivery, ensuring accurate documentation, and facilitating smooth operations across our organization. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements while maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or order administration, preferably in a service environment
• Preferred Fields of Study: Business Administration, Life Sciences, or related field
• Proficient knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP/CRM systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated customer service excellence
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Fluency in English required; additional language skills advantageous
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Experience processing quotes, contracts, and service orders
• Strong data management and documentation skills
• Ability to maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and meet performance metrics
• Experience coordinating with multiple internal departments and external stakeholders
• Ability to travel occasionally for meetings and training
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a deadline-oriented environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
