Dekker Senior Construction Administration Coordinator in Albuquerque, New Mexico
Dekker is hiring a Senior Construction Administration Coordinator to join our team.The Senior Construction Administration Coordinator provides leadership and support to Dekkers Education Studio Construction Administration (CA) team by overseeing Construction Administration Coordinators, supporting project teams during construction, and ensuring consistent, high-quality CA processes across the studio. This role serves as a key point of coordination between Construction Administrators, design teams, consultants, and contractors, while also contributing to continuous improvement of construction administration workflows and standards.

Responsibilities
- Collaboratively engage in project work with responsibilities as assigned.
- Oversee and support Construction Administration Coordinators, including task coordination, mentoring, and onboarding support.
- Support Construction Administrators and design teams throughout construction by facilitating documentation, coordination, and issue resolution.
- Oversee the construction administration process studio-wide to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality documentation and communication.
- Review construction administration documents for completeness, accuracy, and alignment with firm standards.
- Assemble, log, distribute, and maintain construction administrative documents and current construction document sets.
- Communicate project status, accomplishments, challenges, and support needs clearly and proactively.
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and improve construction administration workflows and processes across the studio.
Qualifications
- This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite required. Applicants must live in the Albuquerque NM area.
- Associates degree or higher required.
- 5+ years of experience in construction-related administration; prior experience in a senior or lead CA role preferred.
- Ability to understand trade documents and strong knowledge of construction terminology.
- Demonstrated organizational and people-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam.
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and consultation skills.
