Pay Range: $31.661 - $39.576/Hourly

Essential Tasks:

Manage operations and supervise staff of the purchasing and support services division/ develop, implement and oversee cost-effective procurement policies and procedures, drafts requests for proposals, invitations to bid, and issues and evaluates resulted proposals in compliance with state procurement code; determine procurement of small purchases, sole-source and emergency purchases; process bids and proposals, select and write contracts; write bid qualification forms and participate in selection of contract vendors; approve furniture, supplies, office and maintenance equipment purchases and contractual services; troubleshoot equipment; oversee fixed assets; maintain capital inventory and depreciation schedules along with assigned audit deliverables; maintain supply inventory control, building keying system and sign maintenance; organize registrations, travel plans and subscriptions and dues; oversee the ergonomic training of employees and resolve ergonomic issues; develop and maintain policies and procedures for the purchasing and support services staff; assist in preparing the court budget; perform cost benefit analysis; review purchase documents and procurement card requests; modify purchase orders; schedule and coordinate furniture and equipment moves; act as record liaison officer for archiving and destruction of records; act as back-up to facilities manager. May perform other duties as assigned to meet the operational needs of the Court. A more comprehensive copy of the job description is available at or may be obtained at

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Public or Business Administration, social sciences or a related field. Education Substitution: Four (4) years of program management experience may substitute for education on a year for year basis (Degree Preferred). Experience: Three (3) years of program management or overseeing the budget or finances for projects; grant writing or contract management related to projects; or other experience directly related to the management of projects. Experience Substitution: Additional relevant education may substitute for experience at a rate of thirty (30) semester credit hours equals one year of experience. A post-offer background history and fingerprint check is required.

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an office or court setting. A valid driver's license and travel may be required. The assigned work schedule may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. The employee must regularly interact positively with co-workers, clients, the public, and judges and justices.
