Orleans County Personnel Department Personal Care Aide in Albion, New York
The incumbent in this position does routine work involving the personal care of seniors in the normal activities of daily living in their homes. The work is designed to allow incapacitated seniors the opportunity of remaining at home rather than requiring institutionalization. Performs personal care services for non-ambulatory seniors at their homes. The incumbent is supervised by either the Assistant Director or Director. The incumbent does related work as required. Minimum Qualifications: (A) Valid New York State Personal Care Aide Certification; OR (B) Valid New York State Home Health Aide Certification; OR (C) Valid New York State Nursing Assistant Certification. Special Requirements: Possession of an appropriate New York State Motor Vehicle Drivers License at time of appointment.
