[Nursery work and general maintenance will assist with general production, shipping, and maintenance activities at a large wholesale nursery operation. Duties include planting, potting, weeding, pruning, loading, spacing, order fulfillment, rack building, and general farm maintenance. Work is performed outdoors and indoors under supervision of area growers or shipping supervisors. Must follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions. Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and reaching. Job continues in all types of weather. Must be able to lift 60lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday and be able to carry 60lbs. while walking various distances. [ El trabajo en el vivero y el mantenimiento general contribuirn a las actividades de produccin, envo y mantenimiento en un gran vivero mayorista. Las tareas incluyen plantar, trasplantar, desherbar, podar, cargar, espaciar plantas, preparar pedidos, construir estanteras y realizar el mantenimiento general de la finca. El trabajo se realiza tanto al aire libre como en interiores, bajo la supervisin de los encargados de cultivo o de los supervisores de envos. Es imprescindible seguir todos los procedimientos de seguridad y las instrucciones del supervisor. Se requiere estar de pie, agacharse, inclinarse y estirarse durante periodos prolongados. El trabajo se realiza en todo tipo de condiciones climticas. Se debe poder levantar 27 kg (60 libras) hasta la altura del hombro de forma repetitiva durante la jornada laboral y transportar 27 kg (60 libras) caminando distancias variables.
