Department Job Description:Responsibilities The Senior Program Coordinator will provide overall coordination of the Sexual Violence Prevention Unit. This includes primary oversight of sexual violence prevention efforts and the Primary Prevention Program; programmatic oversight of sexual violence prevention data and evaluation, and coordination with the Bureau's Sexual Violence Response Unit. Other appropriate related duties as assigned. Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of program coordination experience in a public health, health, or human services-related program or community-based organization; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and six years of such experience; OR eight years of such experience. The experience must have been contributing toward the development, implementation and/or evaluation of a program, project or other related activities. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience. At least two years of experience must have included supervision of staff and/or program management. Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in public health, social work, nursing or a related field. Experience working in the field of sexual violence prevention and/or response; working knowledge of social determinants of health, health disparities, and health equity as they relate to sexual violence prevention, program planning, and evaluation; knowledge and understanding of implementation of community-level activities and the socio-ecological model; experience working with multidisciplinary and cross-sector stakeholders; experience with oversight and management of grants, budgets and/or reporting; experience in conducting oral presentations; experience drafting written materials such as request for applications, press releases and/or other public-facing materials.
