The Scheduling and Patient Services Lead serves as a vital administrative bridge within the Department of Pathology, providing high-level executive support for the Department Chair's Office while providing targeted administrative support to the Pathology Residency Coordinator. Success in this position requires managing a broad range of administrative duties within a dynamic academic healthcare environment.

Position Summary:
Supports routine operations of the department included but not limited to:
Back up to administrative coordinators
Assistance to Department Chair as needed
Sort mail
Changes to the Pathologist Service Schedule
Assist with reimbursement requests as needed
Assist Residency Coordinator with Academic Program
Participate in departmental meetings as needed
Communicate professionally and timely with all parties, including providers, patients, clinical care team, and insurance company
Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately to team members
Conveys professional image by adhering to the established dress code.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
- Preferred 2-3 years office experience or one year of related experience in a medical practice
