RN SUPERVISOR – Community Hospice – Hospice Inpatient unit- at St. Peters Hospital.

Work days are Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm. On-call rotation for evening and weekend every 6 weeks.

What you will do:

  • The Community Hospice has a rewarding opportunity for an RN Supervisor to lead our Hospice Inpatient unit in the delivery of quality driven end of life acute care.

Responsibilities:

  • The Community Hospice Supervisor of the HIPU has accountably and responsibility for the delivery of hospice services to designated patient populations.

  • Supports, plans, implements, and evaluates the goals and policies of the Community hospice at a team level.

  • Responsible for the planning, priority setting, coordination and evaluation of programs of patient care and education for patients admitted to the hospice inpatient unit, maintains a quality driven unit and has a high understanding of CMS/Hospice regulations.

  • Assumes responsibility for the management of fiscal and material resources.

  • The supervisor participates in strategic and operational planning, development and monitoring of operation and restricted Budgets, demonstrates the organizations commitment to sound ethical business practices and quality care.

What you will need:

  • A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York

  • ASN required. BSN preferred but not required.

  • Prior Supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Minimum of 3 years Hospice, acute care, or homecare RN experience required.

  • Prior Hospice experience strongly preferred

Pay Range: $46.00-$60.76 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
