Job Description Process Technician IV-Contract PositionJob Summary:Works independently and functions at a high level, managing complex process technology initiatives and leading continuous improvement projects. Responsibilities: * Apply advanced expertise to perform a broad and complex scope of process technology tasks independently. * Lead troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives with a strong focus on efficiency and innovation. * Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams of technicians and Process Engineer. * Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and production to recommend solutions for process optimization and yield enhancement. * Establish new methods or approaches for equipment setup, maintenance, and process testing. Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds is required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Duties also include application of proper industry safety procedures when working with dangerous elements or conditions such as chemicals, electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, radiation, etc. Occasional travel to TEL factories, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
