The Patient Experience Operations Coordinator serves as the critical operational backbone of the Patient Experience (PX) Department. This multifaceted role provides high level administrative support to the VP and Chief Experience Officer (CXO), manages the day-to-day office operations for the PX team, oversees patient experience survey data, and serves as project specialist for key quality improvement initiatives for experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative
Manage calendar appointments for the CXO
Schedule and manage department meetings
Maintains time reporting for department
Manages department ordering and supplies
Manages reception functions of department
Customer Service
Contributes to the creation of a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families and colleagues through displays of kindness and active listening
Demonstrates excellence in daily work by actively participating in performance and quality improvement activities and works toward enhancing patient/visitor/learner and workforce satisfaction
Demonstrates effective teamwork within a collaborative environment
Provides operational support for customers
Provides one on one and group education for patient experience survey database to key stakeholders
Patient Experience Data Management
Conduct user management for survey database access
Collect, organize and compile patient experience data
Work to improve patient and family experience through metric tracking and reporting
Develop systems to monitor and improve patient/customer satisfaction
Design and prepare reports from patient experience data and provides to key stakeholders
Implement methods to enhance the collection of data to assess and evaluate best course of action to improve patient experience delivery
Project Specialist
Assists in all phases of a project, from planning, execution, and through completion
Develop workplans, track progress and deliver status reports to CXO
Monitor and evaluate project timelines and activity, and report on progress to PX department and CXO
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree - required
Master's Degree - preferred
Minimum of five years working in a healthcare setting - required
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.Physical Demands
