KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Compliance Governance, Monitoring & Quality Controls (Ethics & Compliance) to join our Legal, Regulatory & Compliance organization.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and ensure successful operation of ethics processes and controls owned by the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer supporting the firm's System of Quality Management (SoQM).Lead risk assessment activities to identify and address compliance and quality risks across relevant processesPartner with Internal Audit, Legal, and other stakeholders to align and strengthen control testing methodologies and outcomes across the Ethics and Compliance functionDocument and maintain processes to ensure consistency and auditability, and lead the creation or modification of policies, procedures, training materials, and communications to support compliance objectivesMonitor ongoing control performance and drive remediation of control design and operating effectiveness issues to ensure compliance objectives are consistently achievedProvide clear and actionable reporting on quality risks and control effectiveness to senior leadership and the Chief Ethics & Compliance OfficerAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum ten years of recent experience in compliance, audit, risk management, legal or related fields, preferably within professional services or other regulated industriesBachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is requiredGreat leadership skills with experience managing teams and complex projectsfocused on process optimization, compliance programs and monitoringStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements (such as, SEC, PCAOB), risk management principles, and compliance monitoring/testing methodologies, including SoQM conceptsAbility to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights to managementExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
