LaBella Associates Civil Engineering Technician in Albany, New York
We are seeking candidates for a Civil Engineering Technician position in our Latham, NY office to assist with preparing site plan drawings and technical documents for land development projects.
Job Duties
Work collaboratively on research, planning, and design of conventional civil engineering and land development projects.
Produce drawings using computer aided drafting systems Auto Cad and Civil 3D
Assist with code studies, field investigations, and site inspections
Assist with developing technical studies, analytical models, and reports for water, sewer, and stormwater systems
Collaborate with other divisions and departments in a professional manner
Engage in training and mentoring activities that build technical foundation
Salary Range: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology/construction technology
General knowledge of building and site construction
Some experience in drafting and layout of engineering plans is preferred (internships included)
