Cognizant AEM Sr. Developer in Albany, New York

As a Developer specializing in AEM you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing advanced solutions that enhance digital experiences. You will leverage your expertise in AEM support system engineering frontend backend and authoring to drive innovation and efficiency. This position offers a work-from-home model allowing you to contribute effectively in a flexible environment.

Role: AEM Sr. Developer

Location: Saint Louis, MO - Remote also will be considered. Candidate must be in the U.S

Experience: 6+ Years Relevant Experience

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $100,000/Year to $132,000/Year depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of AEM solutions to optimize digital content management and delivery.

  • Oversee the integration of AEM systems with existing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.

  • Provide expert guidance on AEM frontend and backend development to enhance user experience and system performance.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement AEM authoring strategies that align with business objectives.

  • Drive innovation by exploring new AEM features and functionalities to improve system capabilities.

  • Ensure the stability and scalability of AEM systems through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for AEM solutions to support ongoing system enhancements.

  • Conduct regular assessments of AEM systems to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.

  • Facilitate training sessions for team members to enhance their understanding of AEM technologies and best practices.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective AEM solutions.

  • Implement security measures to protect AEM systems and data from potential threats.

  • Optimize AEM system performance through regular updates and configuration adjustments.

  • Support the companys mission by delivering high-quality digital solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or a minimum of 4 years of equivalent work experience.

  • A minimum of 6+ year’s experience in development including defining requirements, developing solution alternatives and estimates and translating client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for large complex IT solutions.

  • Strong AEM experience with front end development and architecture/Design understanding

  • Strong knowledge of Front end web application design , experience in Adv JS, CSS Based frameworks, Strong JEE experience ,Maven, Apache sling frame work, OSGI, Node & NPM, REST based services.

  • Experience in Integrating AEM application with other Adobe suite of products like Analytics, Target, Forms and Others is desirable.

  • Experience with Quality Gating using Sonar Qube or equivalent for Quality and Coverage.

  • Test Driven Development experience is mandatory and Bussiness Driven Development is desirable.

  • Experience in Front End automation or Bobcat is desirable.

  • Experience in working with Jenkins and other Devops tools for Automated Build and Deployment.

  • Working in Agile Teams and Scrum Model.

  • Experience with git and GitHub to manage and share source code
