Robert Half Administrative Assistant in Albany, New York
Description We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations in Albany, New York. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing a high volume of administrative tasks in a fast-paced setting. The role will focus on document preparation, records management, correspondence handling, and accurate data processing while supporting collaboration across the team.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain internal tracking tools and database records to support accurate administrative reporting and follow-up activities.
• Prepare, edit, and format documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and correspondence using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Enter information into electronic systems with a high degree of accuracy and perform routine reviews to ensure data integrity.
• Receive, sort, and process incoming mail and faxed materials while ensuring timely distribution and proper documentation.
• Support day-to-day office operations by printing, scanning, copying, and faxing materials as needed.
• Organize, update, and preserve electronic and paper filing systems so information is easy to retrieve and securely maintained.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare providers and related contacts to support administrative coordination and information exchange. Requirements • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Previous experience providing administrative support in an office environment with data entry responsibilities.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and adjust effectively to changing priorities.
• Solid organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confidence interacting professionally with healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders.
• Experience working with electronic databases and maintaining accurate records.
• Dependable, self-motivated approach with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume office setting.
• Preferred: Familiarity with healthcare organizations, the New York State Health Commerce System, or secure confidential government environments. TalentMatch®
