Albany Medical Center Admin Support Associate V: Center for Learning and Development - 40hrs/week, DAYS in Albany, New York

$41,923.00 - $54,500.00

The ASA V coordinates department communications; answers the telephone and patient

intercom; coordinates and relays patient requests to members of the Patient Care Team. He/she

must be able to operate basic office equipment (fax, photocopier, calculator), and demonstrate

proficient computer skills. The individual may be required to locate key unit personnel,

assemble/maintain department records, organize and file departmental data, and develop reports

and data necessary for unit operations. The ASA V maintains adequate supplies of current forms,

unit supplies and equipment. He/she assists in the implementation of specialized projects

Qualifications:

  • Education: GED-required, Associates Degree-strongly preferred

  • Skills: Basic Computer Skills: Word, Outlook, required.

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Works well under pressure

  • Ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize same day/multiple day priorities
