The ASA V coordinates department communications; answers the telephone and patient
intercom; coordinates and relays patient requests to members of the Patient Care Team. He/she
must be able to operate basic office equipment (fax, photocopier, calculator), and demonstrate
proficient computer skills. The individual may be required to locate key unit personnel,
assemble/maintain department records, organize and file departmental data, and develop reports
and data necessary for unit operations. The ASA V maintains adequate supplies of current forms,
unit supplies and equipment. He/she assists in the implementation of specialized projects

Qualifications:
Education: GED-required, Associates Degree-strongly preferred
Skills: Basic Computer Skills: Word, Outlook, required.
Strong customer service skills
Works well under pressure
Ability to multi-task and organize/prioritize same day/multiple day priorities
