Our client, a growing personal care manufacturer, is looking for a skilled QC Line Inspector to join their team in Alameda County, CA!
Pay rate: $21 -$24/hr. DOE
Schedule: Mon–Fri: 5:00am–1:30pm or 6:00am–2:30pm (times may vary based on duties/deadlines).Training schedule: Day 1 is 7:30am–3:30pm

Overview
Responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing and packaging process by performing inspections, monitoring production activities, and enforcing quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide quality assurance support to production lines to ensure adherence to batch instructions and procedures
Conduct in-process inspections, sampling, and documentation during production
Perform line clearance to verify removal of previous materials and prevent contamination
Inspect first articles, first pallets, and perform random sampling on finished goods
Halt production or shipments when significant quality or compliance issues are identified
Verify outgoing shipments for accuracy, completeness, and proper labeling
Review and approve production labels
Monitor manufacturing and packaging processes, reporting any non-conformances
Perform AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) checks as required
Review batch records for accuracy and completeness
Re-inspect reworked or corrected products and complete deviation reports when needed
Maintain inspection reports and daily quality logs
Collect and manage retain samples and testing samples with proper identification
Monitor and document daily temperature logs
Support additional quality-related tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (preferred) with at least 2 years of relevant experience
Strong basic math skills (including percentages and rounding)
Proficiency in basic computer applications, especially Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Detail-oriented with strong accountability and ownership of tasks
Professional, positive, and cooperative attitude
