Maintenance Technician 1 - Shift B
Develop, coordinate, plan, and schedule departmental programs and activities to ensure timely, reliable execution of general services, projects, and preventive maintenance for critical systems, while collaborating with internal clients and contractors, ensuring all quality requirements are met, and maintaining complete and accurate documentation related to critical systems
Your role:
Monitor, operate, and maintain critical and auxiliary plant systems (HVAC, RODI, CDA, vacuum, electricity, potable/process water, fire protection, air conditioning, etc.), performing daily rounds, preventive maintenance on low‑complexity systems, identifying basic electrical/electromechanical anomalies, and escalating deviations from defined parameters.
Execute maintenance and compliance activities under established procedures, including completing preventive and corrective maintenance work, work orders, and documentation; supporting regulatory compliance, quality standards, EHS CAPAs, 6S initiatives, environmental and process improvement projects; and maintaining 6S in workshops, machine rooms, and assigned areas.
Provide operational and customer support by responding to ticketing and remediation requests with a high level of service, escorting and supervising contractors to ensure work is performed safely, compliantly, and to quality standards, and supporting facility safety procedures and protocols.
Contribute to operational excellence and cost efficiency by working independently with strong attention to detail and multitasking skills, generating and implementing cost‑reduction or improvement ideas, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
You're the right fit if:
Technical education in Electromechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field from a recognized technical institution.
Minimum education requirement: Ninth year of high school completed.
Professional skills: Basic English proficiency and solid computer skills, including Word and Excel.
Experience and evaluation: At least one year of experience as a facilities or maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment; candidates may be required to complete a technical evaluation to validate required knowledge for the position.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
This role is an onsite role. Shift B monday to friday from 3:36 pm to 10:00 pm and saturday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.
