B&N Water/Wastewater Treatment Process Engineer Responsibilities:
- Lead project delivery: Oversee the design and execution of complex water and wastewater treatment projects across the U.S.
- Collaborate for innovation: Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop forward-thinking, sustainable solutions, tackling challenges such as PFAS mitigation and emerging contaminants.
- Technical leadership: Serve as a technical authority and mentor, guiding staff development and partnering with practice leaders.
- Client engagement: Build strong client relationships; contribute to business development through proposals, high-impact interviews, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Quality oversight: Manage the preparation and review of engineering reports, calculations, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Professional representation: Represent B&N at industry conferences, events, and technical forums to share expertise and expand the company's influence.
Skills & Qualifications:
Applicant should be highly driven and motivated to achieve and drive production for process engineering design; should possess strong verbal and written communication skills; be able to organize and schedule design and construction phases of projects
- 15+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater treatment design and project leadership.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or similar from an ABET accredited engineering program.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Highly driven and motivated to achieve and drive production for process engineering design and thought leadership representing B&N.
- Demonstrated expertise in process engineering, facility planning, and regulatory compliance, including emerging contaminants.
- Proven leader with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and delivering successful projects.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build client relationships and collaborate remotely.
- 100% remote if not currently within a commutable distance from an existing or future B&N office in the U.S. with occasional travel (15--25%) for client meetings, site visits, and team engagement.
