Job Description: IT Technician II - Site Services Support Huntsman is seeking a IT Technician II - Site Services Support supporting the IT Division located in multiple sites. This position will report to the Team Lead, IT SD Solution Delivery. Job Scope Provides technical services and support for business systems and applications. Supports site functions, roles, and initiatives, as assigned. Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications. Responsible for incident and request management using ITSM tools. In summary, as the IT Technician II, you will: Provides technical services and support for business systems and applications Support site functions, roles, and initiatives, as assigned Assists in the formulation of procedures and best practices for users of applications (5% time) Responsible for incident and request management using ITSM tools (5% time) Duties/tasks are standardized. Resolves routine questions/problems, and refers more complex issues to higher levels Works under direct supervision and follows established procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks Respect for confidentiality is a must Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed Work collaboratively with team members with different backgrounds and perspectives Assists other employees in accomplishments of Huntsman company goals Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives and completes company-required training programs Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. Minimum Qualifications Education required High school diploma or equivalent Experience required 3+ years of related work experience in Information Technology, Business Administration, or Technology Management Certifications At least one of the following industry-standard certifications: Security+, CCNA, Network+, MCSE, or other relevant industry standard certificate Skills and knowledge Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs Competent in written and spoken English; any other languages are an extra Be able to operate in a rapidly changing, very complex technical environment Promotes and supports standardization and continuous improvement Demonstrated customer focus, empathy, and structured thinking required Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Huntsman's policy/compliance framework, business processes, reporting procedures, and existing and planned information systems and services for the site(s) in which they operate Ability to work under pressure Ability to work on own initiative, and as part of a team Keep up to date with technological advances Preferred Qualifications Relevant certifications preferred Foundational knowledge in some or all of the following areas: Application Analysis, Debugging, Functional Analysis, Programming, Software Design, Software Testing, Software Documentation, Programming Language, Software Requirements Specification, Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Software Bug Tracking Software Working Environment Essential functions require presence in the workplace on a regular basis Ability to work extra hours or overtime as needed to ensure required staffing capacity to meet daily production objectives Huntsman is proud to promot
