Job Description:
AA Maintenance Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery to support construction, landscaping, and maintenance projects.

Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, bulldozers, and loaders
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Assist with site preparation, grading, trending, and material handling
- Work closely with crew members and supervisors to complete projects efficiently
Maintain a clean and organized job site
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong understanding of safety practices
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical labor as needed

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or site development
- OSHA certification is a plus
- Ability to read grade stakes or blueprints

Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay rate: $20+/hour (based on experience)
- Currently 7 am to 12 noon -- must be able to work full time
- *Our standard hours of operation are 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Currently due to a slower workload, we are operating on a reduced schedule from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM. However, this is temporary, and we will return to our regular 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule as business picks up. Therefore, applicants should be available to work the full-day schedule when that transition occurs. *
