*Application Development Architect. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. Akron, OH. *Analyze business needs and identify effective, potential technical solutions. Design and develop new processes, programs and configuration to support the business. Recommend redesign of programs that affect broad multi-user, multi-process cross platform environment. Investigate and analyze feasibility and program requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field (foreign equivalent accepted). 5 years of post-grad, progressive experience as an Engineering Tower Lead, Technical Specialist, Development Lead, Software Architect, Software Engineer or related role. 5 years of experience analyzing business needs within a tire manufacturing plant and evaluating or providing IT solutions. 5 years of experience investigating and resolving issues related to development and inter-connecting interfaces. 5 years of experience as a technical leader for PLM application projects. 18 months of experience with CATIA V5, SmarTeam, JIRA and agile methodologies.
