⚙️ Production Operator – 1st and 3rd shift
Akron, NY
Pay: $17-18/hr entry level with full training provided

?️ What You’ll Do
You’ll support day‑to‑day production by operating equipment, performing inspections, and keeping materials moving. Daily responsibilities include:
Operating molding and printing equipment and making basic machine adjustments
Monitoring machine performance and identifying defects or malfunctions
Containing or sorting suspect products for review, recycle, or scrap
Maintaining proper material flow by filling hoppers and grinding rejected parts
Performing sub‑assembly work, packaging products, and labeling finished goods
Assisting with storage, staging, and inventory counts
Conducting product inspections and completing quality documentation
Communicating workload priorities with foremen and cross‑functional teams
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
? What You Bring
Basic shop math skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, repetitive production environment
Comfort walking up and down a step ladder
Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on production needs
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, and kneel throughout the shift
Strong judgment, problem‑solving abilities, and attention to detail
Willingness to learn, cross‑train, and take on new tasks
⭐ Nice‑to‑Have Skills

Experience in manufacturing, molding, printing, or machine operation
Basic troubleshooting ability
Comfort reading work instructions and production specs
Mechanical aptitude or tool‑handling experience
Prior quality control or inspection work
Success in high‑volume or highly cross‑trained environments
? Work Environment
You’ll work in a light industrial setting across multiple buildings (one assigned per day):
The print shop is climate‑controlled
The molding department is not climate‑controlled
Work centers shift daily based on production demands, offering variety
Tasks are hands‑on, active, and require movement throughout the shift

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.25 - $18.75/hr.
