Eaton Corporation Custom Order Engineer in Airdrie, Alberta
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Custom Order Engineer to join our team. This on-site position that is based out of our Airdrie, AB location and offers benefits from day one.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $69000 - $87000 a year.

Join Our Team:
Provide timely and accurate drawings, materials information, and production engineering support for the manufacturing of motor control centers and aftermarket products in accordance with the customer specifications and the Canadian Electrical Code. This position is also responsible for providing product support (technical, application, etc.) to the General Sales Force & Marketing, Consolidated Transaction Center (CTC), and Eaton’s Electrical Services & Systems (EESS) teams.
What you'll do:
Review incoming orders for design accuracy and compliance with customer specifications.
Resolve technical non‑compliance issues and prepare timely approval or manufacturing drawings.
Develop required electrical control schematics to ensure product functionality.
Create non‑stock bills of material to meet order needs.
Provide technical support to production, marketing, CTC, and sales teams.
Assist warranty and field service teams in resolving customer issues.
Share customer needs and unmet application requirements with the Product Line Manager.
Support corporate initiatives and contribute to departmental and operational goals.
Qualifications:
Basic Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• 1 year of engineering experience in the manufacturing of electrical power distribution assemblies and customer relations.
• Competency in using MS-Office, AutoCAD Electrical and Inventor.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
• No relocation is provided.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 3 years of engineering experience in the manufacturing of electrical power distribution assemblies and customer relations.
• French language skills considered an asset.
