CNC Machinist location - Agawam, Massachusetts, USA 49920 USD - 72800 USD/year Hiring for CNC Machinist inpaying up to \$32 per hour We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join our team for both day and overnight shifts. Our production primarily serves the aerospace and medical industries, requiring precision and expertise. Your role will involve setting up, running, and troubleshooting machinery, ensuring tight tolerances, and performing inspections on all products. A minimum of two years of experience in CNC Milling or Lathe operations is required, along with a willingness to manage various tasks and communicate effectively with our engineering team. Responsibilities Perform complex CNC machine setups and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve machinery issues. Maintain tight tolerances and perform product inspections. Complete necessary paperwork and uphold safety regulations. Report defective materials or processes. Adjust to customer demands and handle small to medium-sized aerospace components. Essential Skills Experience running and setting up CNC Mill or Lathe, with Swiss Machinery experience being a significant advantage. Ability to work with very tight tolerances (+/- thousandths of an inch). Proficiency in troubleshooting machinery. Experience working with aluminum or stainless steel. Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with Swiss Machinery. Ability to perform light edits and zero out a machine. Familiarity with micrometers and calipers for inspections. Why Work Here? Shifts available include the Day Shift from 6:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, and the Overnight Shift from 5:00pm to 6:00am, Monday to Thursday.
