Elwood Staffing Welder/Fabricator in Adrian, Michigan
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on steel, stainless, aluminum, and galvannealed materials
- Produce clean, structurally sound welds; able to complete cosmetic finishing (grind/sand).
- Fabricate parts from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
- Handle layout and fit-up for sheet metal and structural components.
- Operate CNC press brake, CNC turret punch press, and sheet metal shear.
- Maintain tight dimensional accuracy (± .01").
- Inspect work using standard measurement tools.
- Assemble components into final subassemblies.
- Keep work area organize
- Train/mentor junior team members.
- Collaborate with engineering/production to resolve issues.
