WSP Australia’s Water Business Group is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Civil Designer to join our Water Utilities team in Adelaide. What You’ll Do
Represent WSP professionally while working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Coordinate design and documentation activities with engineering and drafting teams
Deliver assigned project work, including 2D and 3D CAD design, in line with technical, quality, and commercial standards
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Support projects from feasibility and concept design through to detailed CAD delivery
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CAD standards, processes, and digital workflows
About You
Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
2+ years’ experience in civil design and drafting, ideally within water infrastructure and utilities
Strong hands‑on capability in AutoCAD and 12D (essential)
Experience in water, mining, or industrial infrastructure highly regarded
Familiarity with point cloud survey data and EDMS is advantageous

How You’ll Work
You’ll be based in our Adelaide office, with hybrid working options and site visits as required. You’ll also be part of WSP’s national CAD / Digital Engineering team, contributing to local projects while supporting major programs across Australia.
You’ll collaborate with leading water authorities and multidisciplinary teams across SA, NSW, VIC, QLD, and WA, helping deliver infrastructure that shapes communities nationwide.
