Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description
We are seeking an experienced specialist within the Facilities Industrial Repair & Maintenance field. The ideal candidate will utilize their acquired job skills and adhere to company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks efficiently. The role involves working on assignments that are semi-routine, with occasional deviations from accepted practices. Established procedures are typically followed for routine work, but instructions may be required for new assignments.
Responsibilities
Responsible for scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs of production equipment.
Assist with the setup and changeover of production lines as needed.
Fabricate necessary machine parts and potentially assemble machines.
Read and interpret blueprints.
Mechanically repair conveyors, screw machines, presses, cold headers, and threaders.
Essential Skills
5-7 years of mechanical and electrical experience (60/40 mechanical).
Experience in metals is preferred.
Skill in electrical troubleshooting, maintenance technician roles, mechanical maintenance, and preventive maintenance.
Proficiency in pneumatics, hydraulics, and blueprint reading.
Ability to perform PLC troubleshooting, electrical maintenance, and industrial maintenance.
Fabrication experience with metal parts.
Knowledge of welding and industrial maintenance repair.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair conveyors and motors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in industrial mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Proficiency in basic welding and cutting procedures.
Correct use of machinist measurement tools.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
Proven capability to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment mechanically.
Ability to overcome obstacles and complete assignments in a timely manner.
Positive attitude, good judgment, and excellent time management skills.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $93600.00/yr.
