Description of Job

Assist the Terrestrial Data Manager with tasks related to Wildlife Tracker and Mandatory Reporting

including but not limited to:

  • Location and mortality data validation related to active and historic collar projects

  • Supporting field staff

  • Developing and testing new methods for data collection for mandatory report species

  • Big game data validation

  • Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Willingness to learn and work with limited supervision

  • Remote work locations are allowed, although must be willing to commute to Denver for limited in- person projects

  • Preference will be given to applicants with experience with R, SQL, and relational databases
