Description of Job
Assist the Terrestrial Data Manager with tasks related to Wildlife Tracker and Mandatory Reporting
including but not limited to:
Location and mortality data validation related to active and historic collar projects
Supporting field staff
Developing and testing new methods for data collection for mandatory report species
Big game data validation
Other tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications, Substitutions, Conditions of Employment & Appeal Rights
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must be able to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Willingness to learn and work with limited supervision
Remote work locations are allowed, although must be willing to commute to Denver for limited in- person projects
Preference will be given to applicants with experience with R, SQL, and relational databases
