We are seeking an Assembly, Integration, and Test Technician to join the GA-EMS Radar Technologies team. In this role, the candidate will play a key part in assembling and testing critical Radio Frequency (RF) and electronic subassemblies, integrating subassemblies into larger systems and subsystems, and working closely with the engineering team to perform system-level validation and verification testing in support of new air and ground-based designs.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITIES:
Responsible for fabrication, modification, installation, and documentation of complex laboratory, experimental or commercial equipment.
Assemble RF hardware, sub-assemblies, breadboards, wiring harnesses, and test fixtures using technical drawings, BOMs, and work instructions.
Perform mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic assembly tasks using soldering irons, hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Integrate mechanical, electrical, and RF components (coax cables, waveguides, antennas, circuit boards) into larger systems, ensuring proper fit and function.
Set up, calibrate, and operate RF/electronic test equipment (network analyzers, power meters, etc.) to conduct functional
Conduct functional, performance, and environmental tests on components, assemblies, and systems using both standard lab equipment and custom automated test setups
Diagnose issues during assembly, integration, and/or testing and partner with engineering to troubleshoot, resolve, and implement corrective actions
Maintain accurate and detailed records of assembly, integration documentation, and testing activities
Partner with engineering to update technical documentation, procedures, and test results
Ensure work meets industry standards including, but not limited to, IPC-A-610, IPC-A620, J-STD-001, and/or MIL-STD-2000 depending on the project
Provide feedback to continually improve designs, processes, quality, and yield

Job Qualifications:
Typically requires a bachelor's degree in business, planning or a related discipline and five or more years of progressive experience in planning, coordinating and scheduling production operations. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
Skilled in basic soldering techniques, including both through-hole and surface-mount component soldering
Experienced in using standard tools for assembly tasks
Competent in interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, procedures, and assembly instructions
Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, Radio Frequency (RF), and electronic systems
Proficient in operating common electrical test equipment, such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
Knowledgeable about Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) precautions and handling sensitive components safely
Adept at troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, including identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Capable of collaborating with design teams to assist in developing plans and procedures for new products
Quick learner with the ability to grasp new concepts and apply them effectively in a fast-paced R&D environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and departments
Customer-focused, able to work independently or as part of a team.
Eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
