CITY OF ACKLEY Seasonal Public Works Assistant in ACKLEY, Iowa
The City of Ackley seeks a temporary seasonal public works assistant to perform duties associated with city facilities, cemetery, city green spaces, and occasional garbage duties. Approximate season for temporary position is May through September; dates may vary based on operational needs and weather conditions. Scheduled hours may vary. Job duties include clean and maintain park equipment, facilities, and park grounds. Mow and weed trim cemetery grounds. Maintain landscaped areas. Pick-up and haul trash from park grounds and green spaces. Operate mowers, weed trimmers, chainsaws, and other hand tools. Assist with weekly garbage route duties, as needed.
