Job Title: General Laborer
Important: Must have reliable transportation – not transit accessible
Overview
We’re seeking a reliable General Laborer to support warehouse operations, including loading/unloading materials, basic inventory support, furniture assembly, and cleaning equipment for storage or redeployment. This is a hands-on role requiring physical work and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload furniture and equipment (chairs, desks, fridges, etc.)
Assist with inventory counts, tracking, and basic paperwork
Assemble desks and furniture using hand and power tools
Clean and prepare furniture and appliances for storage or redeployment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow all safety procedures and proper lifting practices (up to 50 lbs with assistance as needed)
Requirements
Minimum 6 months of general labor or warehouse experience
Experience using hand tools and basic power tools
Assembly experience required
Comfortable with physical work (lifting, bending, standing)
Strong safety awareness and ability to work in a team
Reliable transportation required (site is not transit accessible)
Nice to Have
Moving or furniture handling experience
WHMIS, First Aid, or Fall Protection certifications
Work Details
Monday–Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (with potential overtime)
Shop-based role with occasional outdoor work
3–6 month contract with potential for longer-term opportunities

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
