Overview
Publicis West Africa is seeking a Digital Business Lead to support the Head of Digital & Innovation in running digital business across multiple markets. In this senior role, you will help translate strategic direction into effective day-to-day leadership, ensuring digital strategy, delivery, and operations are aligned and performing consistently. You will act as a key operational and client partner, overseeing delivery quality, supporting teams, and driving governance across markets. This role is ideal for a digitally fluent leader who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and business management within a complex, multi-market environment.
Role Purpose:
Support the Head of Digital & Innovation in leading and scaling digital business
Drive day‑to‑day business leadership across strategy, delivery, and operations
Ensure consistent performance, quality, and governance across markets
Act as a senior operational and client partner on the client account
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Support overall leadership of the digital business across markets
Translate strategic direction into clear operational plans and priorities
Oversee delivery performance across digital, data, content, and influencer workstreams
Act as a senior point of escalation for delivery, quality, and resourcing issues
Partner with Account, Strategy, Media, Data, and Influencer leads to ensure alignment
Support client relationship management alongside senior account leadership
Drive consistency in ways of working, reporting, and governance across markets
Monitor commercial performance, resourcing health, and delivery efficiency
Support growth initiatives, scope development, and new business opportunities
Coach and support Digital Managers, Strategists, and delivery leads
Outcomes/KPIs:
Strong delivery performance across all digital workstreams
Consistent quality and adherence to agreed standards across markets
Effective execution of strategic priorities set by the Head of Digital & Innovation
Healthy team performance, resourcing balance, and capability development
Positive client feedback on operational leadership and delivery reliability
Qualifications
Skills & Experience:
7–10 years’ experience in digital or integrated agency roles
Proven experience leading large, complex, or multi‑market accounts
Strong understanding of digital strategy, delivery, and operations
Ability to manage complexity across multiple teams and stakeholders
Strong commercial and operational judgment
Confident client leadership and stakeholder management skills
Strong communication, organisation, and problem‑solving capability
Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and reporting tools
Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field (preferred)
