Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused CDL Driver to operate a tandem dump truck for material deliveries. The ideal candidate will have experience driving commercial vehicles and a strong commitment to safety, vehicle maintenance, and timely deliveries. Experience operating a loader is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a tandem dump truck to transport and deliver materials to job sites and designated locations.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking oil levels, air pressure, tires, fluids, lights, and overall truck condition.
Ensure materials are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Maintain clean and organized vehicles and report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly.
Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and job site personnel.
Maintain accurate delivery and inspection records.
Operate a loader when necessary (experience preferred but not required).
Qualifications:
Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL).
Clean driving record.
Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Experience driving dump trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred.
Loader operation experience is a plus but not required.
Strong attention to safety and detail.
Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in construction, hauling, or material delivery.
Familiarity with operating heavy equipment such as loaders.
Good communication and time-management skills.
