Job Description
As part of AECOM’s commitment to Emiratisation and in accordance with UAE labour law, only UAE Nationals with a family book will be considered for this role.
This role is fully NAFIS eligible. AECOM manages all registrations and contributions to the GPSSA (General Pension and Social Security Authority).
Job Requirements
Under general supervision performs technical work in a wide range of environmental, health and safety disciplines to achieve compliance with ES&H standards along with federal and state regulatory requirements.
Exhibits knowledge and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of their environmental specialty.
Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of safety and health programs, systems and procedures.
Monitors and prevents hazards and diseases that could be found in the work area.
Investigates accidents, injuries, and complaints concerning hazards in the workplace.
Qualifications
UAE National with a Family Book as required by Emiratisation and UAE labor
Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Safety Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred
Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in safety, health, and environment roles.
Additional Information
Proven track record of developing and implementing effective SHE policies and procedures
Demonstrated success in improving safety performance and environmental sustainability metrics
In-depth knowledge of local and international SHE regulations and standards applicable to the industry
Strong understanding of sustainability practices in buildings development
Proficiency in safety management systems, risk assessment methodologies, and environmental impact analysis
