A Hotel Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, order, and a welcoming environment in guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. This role ensures that rooms meet the hotels cleanliness standards, providing guests with a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards. Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels. Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and clean windows and surfaces. Sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors. Restock guest room supplies such as toiletries, towels, and minibar items. Remove trash and replace waste bin liners. Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor. Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Maintain housekeeping carts and equipment in an organized manner. Respond promptly to guest requests or special cleaning needs when assigned.
Basic Qualifications: Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and lifting. Attention to detail and strong cleanliness standards. Good time management and ability to complete tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
