Description We are looking for a dedicated Administrative Assistant to join our team in Abernathy, Texas. This long-term contract position involves providing vital support to a construction jobsite, ensuring smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment. The role offers the opportunity to engage with diverse team members, manage essential supplies, and oversee various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary administrative support on a bustling construction jobsite, ensuring efficiency in daily operations.
• Coordinate with jobsite personnel, delivery drivers, and catering services to maintain seamless workflows.
• Manage office supply inventory and handle procurement to ensure the workspace remains well-equipped.
• Oversee email correspondence and provide timely responses to inquiries from team members and external stakeholders.
• Perform data entry tasks with precision and maintain organized records for easy access and reference.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Outlook to create and manage documents and communications.
• Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and provide receptionist support as needed.
• Assist in scheduling and maintaining calendars for meetings and other jobsite activities.
• Adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic, quick-paced environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all administrative activities. Requirements • Proven experience in administrative roles within fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook for document creation and email management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data entry processes and maintaining accurate records.
• Ability to manage office supplies and ensure timely restocking as needed.
• Experience in receptionist duties, including greeting visitors and handling phone calls.
