+-----------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Principal Responsibilities | | | | Duties include, but are not limited to, the following: | | | | | | | | Receiving / Put-Away | | | | - Safely unload inbound shipments and transport products to | | designated storage locations. | | - Stack and store materials efficiently in appropriate warehouse | | areas. | | | | Order Picking & Loading | | | | - Pick and prepare products for shipment, ensuring correct product, | | batch number, and quantity. | | - Load outbound shipments onto trucks efficiently and accurately. | | | | Quality & Documentation | | | | - Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free from | | damage. | | - Report quality variances promptly. | | - Verify all paperwork is complete, accurate, and properly | | maintained. | | | | Equipment Operation | | | | - Operate forklifts and other powered equipment to load, unload, | | move, and stack materials. | | - Inspect equipment daily and perform minor maintenance as | | required. | | - Operate all equipment safely and according to established work | | practices. | | | | Inventory | | | | - Assist with monthly inventory counts and stock verification. | | | | Housekeeping | | | | - Maintain clean and organized work areas, aisles, docks, and | | storage locations. | | - Remove debris, packaging, and waste materials promptly. | | - Store materials properly to prevent damage and safety hazards. | | | | Safety | | | | - Perform all duties in a manner that promotes a safe work | | environment. | | - Comply with OSHA regulations, MSDS/SDS requirements, and company | | safety policies. | | - Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. | | | | | | | | EMPLOYEE JOB REQUIREMENTS | | | | · High school diploma or equivalent required. | | | | · Completion of a forklift training program required. | | | | · Experience or familiarity with material handling preferred. | | | | · Ability to safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment. | | | | · Basic understanding of chemical handling, hazards, and | | safety practices, including MSDS/SDS and PPE usage. | | | | · Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced | | environment. | | | | · Strong communication and interpersonal skills. | | | | · Demonstrates dependability, flexibility, initiative, and a | | strong work ethic. | | | | · Ability to work independently and as part of a team. | | | | · Willingness to learn and develop job-related skills. | | | | · Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more. | | | | · Ability to work overtime as required. | | | | | | | +-----------------------------------------------------------------------+
