Job Title: Millwright
Job Description
Join our team as a Millwright and play a crucial role in our operations as we consolidate our facilities into a single, state-of-the-art location. We are in the process of moving equipment from Agassiz to Langley, and we need a skilled professional to assist in disassembling, transporting, and reassembling machinery. This position involves fabrication, electrical wiring, and maintenance tasks as part of the dedicated maintenance team.
Responsibilities
Disassemble and move machinery
Perform fabrication and electrical wiring tasks.
Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
Participate in installation and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Essential Skills
Minimum 3rd year experience or equivalent in millwrighting.
3+ years experience with fabrication or electrical work.
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Ability to work at both Agassiz and Langley facilities.
Willingness to work a 12-18 month contract.
Occasional availability for afternoon shifts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
First aid certification.
Forklift or overhead crane experience.
Red Seal certification in millwrighting.
5+ years experience in electrical or fabrication roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Leadership and motivational abilities.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment
This role is based in Langley, with occasional travel required to Agassiz. The standard shift is from 6:15 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime required from time to time.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $47.00/hr.
