Millwright – Facility
Location: Langley, BC (with travel to Agassiz)
Employment Type: 12–18 Month Contract
Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:15 AM–2:30 PM (with occasional afternoons & overtime)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Millwright to support a major facility consolidation project. As we transition equipment from Agassiz to our new, state-of-the-art Langley site, you will be a key contributor in disassembling, transporting, reinstalling, and maintaining a wide range of machinery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on mechanical work, problem‑solving, and being part of a dedicated maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble, relocate, and reassemble industrial machinery.
Perform fabrication work, including cutting, welding, and fitting.
Complete electrical wiring tasks related to equipment installation.
Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Install and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3rd‑year Millwright apprentice or equivalent experience.
3+ years experience in fabrication or electrical work.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics .
Ability to work at both Agassiz and Langley locations as needed.
Willingness to commit to a 12–18 month contract .
Occasional availability for afternoon shifts.
Preferred Skills & Assets
First Aid certification.
Forklift or overhead crane operation experience.
Red Seal Millwright certification.
5+ years fabrication or electrical experience.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others.
Creative, solution‑focused mindset.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities.

Work Environment
This position is primarily based in Langley , with required travel to Agassiz during the equipment relocation period. Standard hours are 6:15 AM to 2:30 PM , Monday through Friday, with overtime depending on project needs.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $47.00/hr.
