Job Title: Avionics Technician Job Description
Join our team as an Avionics Technician, where you will be integral to aircraft installations on the Dash 8 Q400. Your expertise will be crucial in airframe, cockpit, and underfloor wire installations. Utilize your skills in wiring diagrams and wire harnesses, performing both bench work and line maintenance, installations, and conversions.
Responsibilities
Perform installations on the Dash 8 Q400, including airframe, cockpit, and underfloor wiring.
Interpret and utilize wiring diagrams and wire harnesses.
Conduct bench work as well as line maintenance.
Assist in aircraft installation, conversions, and repairs.
Essential Skills
2+ years of experience in avionics installation.
3+ years of experience as a licensed or unlicensed AME.
Ability to work independently with no additional training required.
Proficiency in line maintenance and installation work on Q400 aircraft.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Dash 8 Q400, RJ 85, and Air Tractor aircraft.
ACA endorsement is beneficial.
Strong ability to work both independently and within a team.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Work Environment
Work alongside a team of 5-6 people, collaborating with the Team Lead or Lead Hand to ensure aircraft functionality. Bring basic tooling; specialized tools will be provided. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime on Saturdays. Enjoy a structured yet flexible work environment that allows for personal appointments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abbotsford, BC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $53.30 - $56.38/hr.
